Welcome to Farmville Tips and Secrets. This is a quick overview of my farmville journey. To find out more about why I created Farmville Tips and Secrets follow the link. When I first started I travelled through the first few levels rather quickly and then I just seemed to plateau. My progression slowed down to a snails pace.

I had no FV cash, not enough neighbours to open all of the locked marketplace items and no spare coins leaving me with lots to buy and nothing to buy it with at the end of each day. If you are reading this now chances are you may be in the same predicament so I know how you’re feeling.

It was rubbish, everyday I came on I seemed to be getting nowhere. I was starting to get bored and ready to give up because I just couldn’t get enough money together to do anything worth while.

I asked my neighbours for advice but most of them had either given up or were in the same boat as me. The only ones who were doing well wouldn’t tell me anything – very unsporting of them.

I searched the internet and found nothing of use there either.

I was just about to give up, defeated, deflated and ready to move onto another game when I found some farmville tips that actually helped. They showed me how to level up faster, which crops to plant for the biggest profits, how to optimise the farm layout to maximise harvesting and this was just the beginning.

• One of the tips was to expand your farm as soon as possible. Save up the money as soon as you can and buy a 14 x14 farm. This will give you more space to plant crops and more profit in return.

 

• Another one was to plant soya beans, grapes, peas and asparagus in that order for maximum profit. As soon as one of the above crops is unlocked through levelling up move onto planting it.

 

• Also find a place for your trees. Once they’re planted you can keep harvesting them without having to replant. You don’t get XP and the amout of coins you’ll get isn’t as much as the crops but it’s still well worth having them especially in the beginning.

These are just a few of the simpler Farmville Tips for when you’re just starting out.

As you progress through the game it gets harder and takes you longer to level up. 1 tip in particular absolutely blew me away. I couldn’t believe how simple it was and why I’d not thought of it myself.

This tip took me from having 0 coins at the end of each day to being able to buy whatever I wanted. Even the Villa at 1,000,000 coins only took me a few days to buy after I’d spent up buy lots of other expensive buildings.

I used to do everything to on the entire game just to scrape a few coins together and I’d get that message saying that I’d accomplished all of the tasks on the farm. I’d done my crops, animals, trees sent out all of my gifts and tended to everyone elses farm.

I only do that if I want to now as there simply isn’t any need anymore.

Getting Farmville Neighbours is vital to progressing through the game. You can get most things through the normal progression of the game but it’s a lot more difficult. You either have to pays lots of FV dollars which are hard to come by or you can get a few more neighbours and some coins which are much easier to get your hands on.

Finding it hard to get Farmville Neighbours

I know I was. Until I discovered how to get more of them this game was a lot harder. I wanted more land and I just didn’t have enough to be able move up.

I couldn’t move up the the levels fast enough to get enough FV dollars to buy land that way either and I certainly wasn’t prepared to pay for them. It’s an ever increasing circle. The more land you have the FV coins and XP points you make the faster you level up and on and on.

Without extra land it can take ages to level up which is very frustrating especially when you see your friends shooting up through the levels leaving you eating their dust.

Getting Farmville Neighbours

Here are two strategies to help you get the Farmville neighbours you need to progress through the game leaving all of your friends eating your dust for a change.

Ask all of your Facebook friends to join. I don’t just mean send out a request and leave it at that. When you see them online chat to them and ask them to start a game up and accept your request. Even if they never start the game again it doesn’t matter it’s another Farmville Neighbours on your list.

Visit the Farmville Facebook Fan Page. There are loads of people on there looking for Farmville Neighbours, you need to accept them as a friend for this technique so it’s not for everyone. Remember once you’ve accepted them as a friend they’ll see all of your profile and Facebook posts just like everyone else.

A quick way to gain experience points is once you’ve replanted all of your crops and have some spare money left over, spend it on things that will give you experience points and sell the item once you’ve bought it. You’ll usually get about 1 XP far every 100 coins spent and 10 coins back when you sell it.

Just a quick post today. Have you ever wondered what the ‘pet’ feature is in the facebook game. It had me puzzled for a while and alot of my farmville friends as well. It’s when you bring the menu bar above an animal and at the bottom it says ‘pet’. At first I thought it may d something like give you more coins when you harvest the animal or make it harvestable quicker but it turns out that it’s just another one on those meaningless querks of the game. All it does is make the anamal make a funny noise. That’s it!! Hope this helps.

1. Look through the ribbons and familiarise yourself with them all and how you’re going the achieve them.

2. Sort out the ones that you need to go after from the once that you’ll gain naturally. The fertilize crops ribbon for example will come naturally. All you have to do is fertilize your neighbours crops everyday which you should be doing anyway to gain XP and help you level up.

3. Once sorted, select 2 or 3 ribbons that you want to get.

4. When you know how to get the ribbons go after them full tilt not half heartedly. If you want to be a ‘Fruit Farmer ‘ then make sure that the only crops you plant are fruit.

5. Once you’ve achieved all 4 ribbons go back to step 2 – rinse and repeat.

1.The first of my farmville tips is one of the first tasks you should try to accomplish when starting your farm so get saving because it’s expensive. It will cost you 10,000 coins and it’s worth every one. What is it then?

Expand your farm. Just a little at first, you’ll go from 12 x 12 squares to 14 x 14, This will give you an extra 54 squares to farm. If you plant soy beans and harvest everyday it will pay for itself in under a week, that’s not including all of the xp you’ll gain, then it’s all profit.

2.I know you may want to make your farm look all pretty right from the get go but please resist the temptation. Plant and harvest as many crops as you can to get the money coming in and think about the look of your farm later. Once you’ve got the money rolling in then you can think about the appearance.

3.look through the ribbons and try to accomplish these tasks to get the ribbons. For example if a task is to harvest 5 different types of tree. Plant 5 different trees only, then harvest them to get the ribbon. Don’t waste your money planting any more.

4.Once you’ve got some money rolling in and you’ve expanded your farm buy a dairy farm and a chicken coop. You can then fill these with chickens and cows to harvest for coins each day without investing money ploughing, sowing and harvesting.

5.The same goes for trees you can plant a forest and continue harvesting permanently.

6.When your farm is established and you’ve gained a few levels you’ll be able to increase your mastery of growing crops. To do this just plant 1 type of crop at a time and you’ll reach the 3 star mastery level in no time then move onto the next crop.

7.The final one of my farmville tips is more of a cheat than a tip but it’s legal and won’t get you banned like farm bots will, it’s just a small glitch in the game. If you want harvest you crops a little quicker surround the character in 8 haystacks so it can’t move and harvest away. The only purpose of it is to save time, something that I know is very valuable.
